TVCine

TVCine is one of Portugal's premium TV channel brands. I joined post-launch to build out new features and maintain the digital presence during 2020 and 2021 at Angry Ventures.

The stack was a Nuxt.js frontend with a backend split between Strapi and .NET, the kind of architecture that demands you understand the full pipeline, not just your corner of it. My work covered new pages, new features, and ongoing updates to keep the platform current as the media landscape shifted under everyone's feet.

This was one of those projects where the value wasn't in starting from scratch but in understanding what already existed and making it better without breaking it. Reading someone else's architecture, respecting their decisions even when you'd have made different ones, and shipping improvements that feel native to the original vision.

It was also my introduction to working inside a bigger team after eight years of the startup life, a transition that would reshape how I thought about collaboration, ownership, and what it means to build something you didn't conceive.
